Since 2012, #GivingTuesday has galvanized the global community by investing in programs that are working to transform the world.  This year #GivingTuesday will be on Tuesday, November 29 2022.  On that date, millions of people will give their time and finances to support the organizations and causes that are nearest to their hearts. Won’t you consider making Black Child Development Institute of Greensboro (BCDI-G) your heart’s focus this year?

At BCDI-G, our students are primarily served through our Extended Learning Opportunity Program (ELO).  The ELO program is a year round out of school program that serves students from targeted Title 1 schools in Greensboro.  Through this program, students receive a quality afterschool program that provides tutoring, homework assistance, STEM activities, Social Emotional Learning, nutrition, and art…and that’s just the afterschool portion.  We also have a 7 week full day summer program. But it doesn’t stop there! We also provide family support through workshops and connections to community resources…and did we mention everything is FREE to our families.

By structuring our program to include key components that go beyond academic support, we are empowering our children to thrive and create at school and in their community.
