Parent Program Reminders

  • Please be advised that BCDI-G operates on the same schedule as Guilford County Schools.

  • In the event of inclement weather, BCDI-G follows the same precautions as Guilford County schools. If GCS cancels their afterschool program, ALL Bridge sites will be closed. If we need to close early due to inclement weather parents and emergency contact will be notified by phone of closing time.

  • BCDI-G offers enrichment activities every day from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Please allow your child to remain at the program until daily enrichment activities are complete.
  • Parent Orientations are mandatory in order to provide pertinent information regarding BCDI-G’s policies & procedures.

  • Regular attendance of students is key to ensuring program success and to have your child remain in good standing in the program.

  • Parent involvement is a big part of our program. Parents will be required to attend 80% of the various “Parent Engagement Workshops/Events” over the course of the program year in order for your child to stay enrolled in the program.
